Description

This quilt is hand sewn and painted on silk with embroidery. In Mediterranean mythology, this woman is interpreted in a modern setting who lived in a walled garden, called Biosphere II in Oracle, Arizona.

Biosphere II was first created in 1987, and is the largest closed ecological system ever created, at 3.15 acres.
