He abandoned his 'early art career' for bioscience and contstruction, owning a number of successful businesses. When he grew older, he noticed himself hanging out and sharing life with a surpisingly large number of artists, musicians and creative types. Always on the lookout for the 'ultimate career' and merging his business goals with what he loves, he returned to helping artists later in life with Artsy. Gregory shares a love with Lisa of the creative process and enjoys marketing art. His life centers around helping artists reach their dreams and succeed in business. Gregory's goal is to build online communities that center around art and culture, to help artists share in the building of that online community, and allow artisans to reach a global audience that will appreciate their creative talent. Alas, Lisa does not possess artistic talent. However, she is a savvy shopper and lover of the finer things in life, including good food, clothes, jewelry, music, books, and most importantly, good company. She has an eye for beauty and enjoys expressing it via the stuff in her home. Hand-thrown pottery, mouth-blown glass ware, original paintings and one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry are the things she likes best. She believes that when people are surrounded by beauty they react to the world differently. Chakras are aligned, happiness spreads, and nobility and intrigue are revealed. Being a lover of art is part of the ingredients for a fun and balanced life. While being Gregory’s girlfriend/sidekick is quite a job in itself, Lisa has gained her business smarts from the corporate world. She currently works in the HIV/AIDS field for a pharmaceutical company and works towards making the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS a little easier. About Dana Cordes, Z.P. (Zen Programmer)

Gregory Cox was born in Thousand Oaks, California to an architect father and an artist/teacher mother. Growing up in a house that his family built, he was constantly barraged with elegant landscape and portrait paintings, as well as miniature models and building schematics. Developing an interest for drawing at an early age, he would sit next to his father's drafting board and pencil for hours each day. His father and mother took quite an interest in his creative talents. Gregory still owns over 1300 pictures he made during the ages 3-15.
Lisa is a Los Angeles native and throughout her childhood her parents instilled in her a deep appreciation of all the wonderful things that make life thrilling (including fabulous shoes). Having parents from another country made her aware of the wonders of places other than here - wherever that here may be - and that there is beauty in the simple as well as the ornate.
Dana Cordes and Gregory have been friends for over 6 years, and in that time, have been working on various projects for Gregory's clients, building e-commerce sites and programming more functionality into the web.
